Carol Reeves

Carol Reeves started her musical career at the age of four with piano lessons.  At age seven she started playing the violin.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance and Music Education as well as her Master’s degree in Music Education, all earned from the University of Texas as Austin.  In tenth grade, Reeves began her professional performance career as an orchestral violinist.  She has performed on violin and viola with the Dayton Philharmonic, Austin Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, Arizona Opera, Tucson Pop, and is currently a violist with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra.  Carol Reeves has directed elementary, middle, and high school orchestras in Ohio, Texas, Arizona, and has been the director of the orchestras at Magee Middle School in the Tucson Unified School District for 15 years.
