Ms. Crandall graduated with high distinction from the University of Arizona in 1979 with Bachelor of Music degrees in Performance and Music Education.  Her Master of Music degree in Performance was completed summa cum laude at Northwestern University in 1982.  Her major teachers have been Richard Oldberg, Norman Schweikert, Dale Clevenger, and Keith Johnson.  In July 2000, she performed with the Tucson Symphony Horn Section at the 32nd International Horn Society Symposium in Beijing, China and on the Great Wall of China.  She has also performed in orchestras at the Aspen Music Festival, the Brevard Music Festival, and the Flagstaff Festival.  Honors include membership in the Northwestern University Chapter of Pi Kappa Lambda - a National Honorary Music Society; membership in the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi-University of Arizona Chapter; and inclusion in the second edition of Who's Who In American Music: Classical.  She has been a member of the Tucson Symphony since 1974.
